From AI Worries to API Wars; Drake’s AI Clone is Here; Taylor Swift, AI and the Copyright Conundrum
#2 | Your Weekly Dose of AI Music News
Hello! Thanks for clicking in for issue #2 of the AI Music Newsletter. It’s a project I’m very excited about, so it’s fun to get this ship of carefully-curated links set out to sea.
At this stage in the game I remain neutral on AI Music. I see the creative opportunities. I see the legal/copyright chaos. But there’s no denying AI Music has the potential to revolutionize the way we create, consume, and interact with music.
However, there are also concerns about the use of AI in music, such as the potential loss of human creativity and the ethical considerations around copyright and ownership. The question is whether ‘we’ will find a balance between the benefits and risks of AI in music — all the while exploring its potential in a responsible and ethical way.
Have a great day!
