Deezer chases Spotify and Amazon Music with its own AI playlist generator
Deezer is the latest music streaming app to introduce an AI playlist feature. The company announced on Monday that a select number of paid users will be able to create custom playlists with a text prompt using its âPlaylist with AIâ feature. The launch of the new feature comes a few months after Spotify and Amazon Music started testing personalized AI playlist generators with their users. YouTube is also said to be testing a prompt-based AI radio feature.
Disney Music Group strikes deal with AI music startup AudioShake to âunlock new listening and fan engagement experiencesâ for its catalog
AudioShake uses AI to deconstruct music tracks into stems that can be used for remixes, sampling and other applications. The technology can be used to separate vocals or dialogue from instruments, for example, in older recordings where multiple tracks arenât available.
